Our machines are made from future technology
You will never find a similar machine on the market - our technology is new and patent pending.
We saw an opportunity to advance the industry by developing a new machine frame, which also forces innovation of the remaining machine components. We developed in house the most compact BT30 spindle, the most powerful CNC controller, fully automatic coolant management system, and enclosure to perfectly fit this new technology.
Anyone who uses our technology will have an immediate advantage over competitors using old machines.
Where we came from
A startup based in the West Midlands, UK set out to build and deliver small hobby CNC machines to customers.
The Samurai 120H was the first small machine tool featuring a Dual ATC carousel capable of holding 28 BT30 tools and changing in 2.3 seconds, something that the industry later followed. You will now see multiple machines in industry using the multiple carousel design to increase tool capacity and reduce setup times.
After manufacturing the Samurai 120H in house for 2 years, we had gained the experience needed to move onto the next level.
The Samurai 120H was our early testing ground and led to the development of the Samurai 220H™ and Samurai Steel™.
Why we are Samurai
A Samurai is considered at the pinnacle of what they do.
The Katana sword was crafted with the highest precision, making it known for extreme sharpness and exceptional cutting ability. Their Bushido code demanded absolute perfection in conduct and in every part of their lives.
Samurai M.T. embodies these traits in our lives and in the machines we build.
We carry the perfection and attention to detail over to every part of our company from the initial design, to manufacturing and the ownership experience for the customer. Our machines are the fastest, most rigid and powerful in their size class, giving them exceptional cutting ability. We always think in terms of microns - any number greater than 5 on a machine specification is too high for us.
The Way of Samurai
Our 'Way' is founded on the principle that the future doesn't just happen naturally. To truly build the future we must think far ahead, not just the next 5 years.
The Japanese warriors are now history, however we hope to revive the Samurai name in a new form focused on mastering innovation rather than the sword.
